ABOUT FREEDOM FISHING

Freedom Fishing was founded by Rodd Ruiz, a local Louisiana business owner, disabled veteran, and fishing enthusiast. He wanted to provide a trip of a lifetime to his fellow disabled veterans as a thank you for the sacrifices they've made for this country and for the freedoms he and all of us get to enjoy every day. 

Chartered fishing trips are often very expensive, leaving them inaccessible to many. Freedom Fishing removes this barrier and allows disabled veterans to enjoy Louisiana's famed Sportsman's Paradise that has brought Rodd much happiness in his life.
