Our founder, Rodd Ruiz who is a disabled veteran, loves deep sea fishing but knows there are many costs involved that make it difficult for everyone to go. That's where Freedom Fishing came to fruition. Rodd wanted to be able to offer a no-cost deep sea fishing trip to his fellow men and women who have been disabled while putting their lives on the line for the country they love. This trip is a thank you to those brave men and women and allows Rodd to share with them one of the biggest things that brings him joy; enjoying Louisiana's Sportsman's Paradise out on the open water.
